MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi! I’m Stephanie. I’ve been in the writing, editing, and publishing industries since I was about five years old. I published my 1st story at age eight in a special volume with the Coronado Public Library. I later went on to pursue a BA an English…mostly so that I could stay up late reading Charles Dickins, Frances Hodgsen Burnett, C.S. Lewis, Laura Ingalls Wilder, T.S. Eliot, and Emily Dickinson. After receiving a Masters in Educational Counseling, I worked as a School Counselor before becoming a mother. Now? You can find me reading aloud every night to my three little girls (born 2006, 2009, and 2012) – with dramatic voices, of course! Together, we visit the library at least thrice a week to discover new literary masterpieces.
Obviously, we really enjoy reading…
My other professional gigs include serving as Editor-in-Chief of TucsonTopia.com and freelancing for a variety of travel media outlets. I am also a member of the Global Team of 200 and enjoy covering events related to literacy, imagination, and the hope that a good education can provide to children around the world.
